Emily Brown Joined Five Oaks Academy in 2021 and serves as an Upper Elementary Directress, specializing in Mathematics. Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a Minor in Theatre from the College of Charleston. She is currently completing her Upper Elementary Montessori training through the Center for Guided Montessori Studies (CGMS). Before joining Five Oaks Academy, Emily worked as a Mathematics teacher for seven years at St. John’s Christian Academy in Moncks Corner, SC, and has worked with students from sixth to twelfth grades. She is affiliated with the South Carolina Montessori Alliance (SCMA) and the American Montessori Society (AMS).
