Catalina joined Five Oaks Academy in January 2024. She is originally from Costa Rica and attended Creative University located in San José where she majored in Advertising and Interior Design. She has a wide breadth of hands-on experience with different languages and cultures, having traveled to over 15 different countries across 3 continents. She moved to the United States in the year 2000 and has three children, with two currently attending Five Oaks Academy and one soon graduating from college. Catalina serves as the Lower Elementary Spanish Directress. “I am excited to bring a lively approach to teaching Spanish, blending personal cultural insights with engaging lessons to spark a true passion for the language in my students.”
